ENVIRONMENT

Keeping a litter free city is our main goal,  With partners like Keep Brownsville Beautiful we have worked on litter clean ups, recycling education, environmental contests, and much more.

HEALTH

Promoting health literacy, community resource fairs and bringing education about our aged population with Senior Advocacy Coalition Our goal is to make Brownsville an Age Friendly City.  Better sidewalks, representation in our city government, social activies and much more.

EDUCATION

...Because it all about education, Healthy Communities of Brownsville, reaches out to schools, businesses and community organizations with bike rodeos, recycling tips,educational programs about recycling and much more.

CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM

Healthy Communities of Brownsville, Inc. is currently partnering with  Redfish Recycling, to promote curbside recycling in the RGV One Can At A Time. We started in August  and and we are curently offering services in Brownsville, Los Fresnos, Rancho Viejo  and the City of Palm Valley.

Senior Coalition Advocacy

The Senior Advocacy Coalition (SAC) will be meeting at the Brownsville Public Library's Southmost Branch. On the agenda - updates from the Fiesta De Salud 2025 and getting feedback on ongoing projects and iniitiatives in the community.
